Hallo y'all
okay guys, first of all, i want to apologize for the lack of updates.
laziness is one of the factors, however, there is another big main reason behind it - i DO NOT yet have a chair for the desk and it is very hard to navigate around the laptop while lying on my matteress.
but... i feel really bad for not blogging much.. so this one is gonna be a long post, filled with pictures.
just to let everyone know that i am settling quite well over here. i am contented and happy though there are some stuff which really get on my nerves such as............................................
1) THEY DO NOT HAVE A DECENT ORIENTAL MARKET HERE. what is wrong???
yesterday, i wanted to cook braise pork with tau kua and egg and i NEED black soy sauce. i went round the city and i couldn't even find one oriental market (except the small pathetic one outside my place).
THE CONCLUSION----if i really need chinese sauces, i need to drive about 50 mins towards los angeles downtown to go get them. argh!!!!
hmm... but since mark is coming over in 2 weeks' time, i have already asked him to get me some chinese pepper, dried noodles and some sauces.. i think i'm good till everytime runs out.
2) because my driver's license has expired. i need to go renew it and......... i NEED to retake my theory. this really drives me nut. united states is so bloody big and different states have got different rules... why can't they make everything simpler and just let my arizona license get transferred over????
and a friking smog test costs $58 USD over here whereas it costs only $13 in tucson. :(
other than the above whinnings, i am happy and .........HAPPY. God has blessed me tonnes.
it is so good to have a fellow malaysian as a co-worker, i have met some really cool and witty believers over here (though i'm not a big fan of the type of church that they go to). i think i still like baptist church and yay.. i will get a chance to travel to the east coast for the company orientation in april..
everything's cool!!! life is not perfect but i'm contented.
