raNdom sTuff

nothing really big these days.

there are alot of small little things to write about and i don't know when to begin.

since i came back here from tucson last weekend, i have been slammed with work. time just flew by. there are alot of deadlines to meet. tension and pressure are building up... but i kind of like it.

i need some pressure, if not i'll just slack. sometimes when things get slow, i give myself the pressure instead. this is to push myself. also, i have learned to deal with pressure in a positive way.. instead of letting it get over you, i'll just laugh.. laughter is the best medicine. what for sulk, work still need to be done regardless. yah, yah.. sometimes i do admit i'll curse abit, but then, the most important is to stay on top of it..

also, thank God, i have got a bunch of crazy people in the office... to keep each other sane. de young is soon going nuts with whatever we have on hand but... we laughed alot these days.. more than usual.. that's the way to go..

---------------------------------------

i got pissed with pete last friday cause he got agitated at me for a very small matter ---- just because i told him the wrong age of the new business manager. when the new BM 1st came in for an interview, through my side view, i thought he's in the early 30s, but when he 'officially' came into the office, he introduced himself and told us that he's in the 40s..

then... pete got pissed cause to him --- he had trusted me but i failed him.

simi sai is that.. i can't stand when people get angry for no reason and furthermore, is for the most ridiculous thing... c'mon.. the world is complex enough, why get mad over small little things..

but then... is PEACE now.. we have 'kissed' and made up since.

---------------------------------------

i read mr brown's article on TODAYonline. mediacorp press has suspended his column 'indefinitely'.

why? because he critised the government.

for --- rising
cab fares, price of whatever THEY can think of after the election.

what's the reason for progressive package? to help singaporeans deal with all these price increase isit?

well, in a way i can understand the increase cause the oil of price is indeed going up but why suspend the column? is that how the government think they can shut people off?

the other day... i was thinking hard about this matter..

singapore is a cosmopolitan city. i do admit our government has run the city well but i don't think they are handling this matter well..

i just gave them a new name --- the NEw AgE c*******t [fill in the blank yourself]

---------------------------------------

oh yah, by the way, according to UK-based new economics foundation -- singapore is voted the LEAST happy nation in asia..

ha.. don't know whether want to laugh anot..

so true.. so true..

talk to so many of my friends in singapore.. very few of them seem to be truly happy.

life seem to be tough back on the island.. i think the government need to spend time working this out then.. to suspend mr brown's column
