exam in the summer
i'm studying my ass off now for an upcoming exam on monday. i haven't been using my brain for a while so it took me some time to get it started. however, thank god that the subject itself is pretty interesting and not like those boring gen-ed classes. okay.. for those of you who have no clue on what i'm taking---this is one of my major classes; it is called usability engineering. we have to analyse user interface, give feedbacks and also know how to design a proper one. i like this class. also, i came across this damn interesting law while studying. it is called the jacob's law.
"To err is human-to blame it on someone else is even more human"
mark and i had a quarrel yesterday night, and i like to blame it on him. jacob's law rocks!
oh yah, i managed to take the test yesterday. i wouldn't say it is super easy. i'm asked to use excel to work on some problems, use visio to create an organizational chart, write a user manual and also do a write-up of how the company will benefit if they hire me. all these in 1.5 hours. pretty taxing! okay, now everything is in God's hand. i have no control of the outcome already. i really do hope it works out even though the manager told me that they are undergoing some restructuring in the company and they need to give internal employees a preference but he wants to give me the test anyhow.
approximately 1 more month and i'm off to california.. yeh!!
