speaking of my somewhat crazy famille. my grandma is so spontaneous!

yesterday after dinner, my uncle decided to bring me to dempsey area -- particularly to this place called Oosh.

i LOVE secluded chill-out places. we had some long island tea and margaritas and my grandma tried them both!

she can't drink much cause she needs to take her med later, if not i'm pretty sure she would order her favourite drink --- RED WINE. it's my favorite too!

2 more days to leaving :(

my aunt said that i'm OLD FASHIONED!

just because i'm very old school when it comes to office wear. i only stay to dark color and i'm very picky on shoes. she said i'm boring.

but frankly speakly, my aunt damn hip loh!

i call one of my uncles and aunt lao hiao..but i love it and they are very happening!

singaporeans are too bloody pampered! don't you all agree?

when it rains, i don't have to worry a dime cause frm my place to the MRT or to the taxi-stand, it is all SHELTERED.

when i reach town, underpasses are everywhere. i was looking @ the train stops. they even tell you how long it will take to reach your next destination.

i was reading the paper the other day. someone brought out this issue that the government should treat its people better than foreigners. err... bloody donkies.. singaporeans don't know how good their life is already.

thank God my dad sent me away frm my comfort zone to see the world. if not, i will just be one of those whinning bunch of people who just know how to complain and compete.

just like the size of our country. most people like to see things very small too.

when i'm in singapore, i wish i have FOUR stomachs --> like the cow.

this will allow me to eat more and digest faster before the next meal.

just when i'm about to enjoy immensely here, i have to leave.

received news that my documents have been approved. all i need is to wait for the hard copy to arrive and make a trip down to the US consulate to go thru THAT interview again.

i will miss all the chilling out sessions with friends and dinner with family at super great places.

yesterday night, mark's parents brought me to this italian restaurant @ Duxton Road. it was so damn good. i'm picky when it comes to italian food because i lOve them. this is one of the very few restaurants that i will give 5 thumbs UP! i'm definitely going to go there again before i leave :)

argh.. and to be able to hit those secret chill-out places that are not known to the public yet; sitting down over glasses of wine and be able to talk about anything from work, life topics, gay issues, relationships problems.. this is one great joy in life :)

oh well, that's life.

working in singapore should be less stressful. well, to me, the only stress comes from work. the moment you step out of the office and off to home is pretty darn comforting... at least for me.

when i get back from work, i don't have to worry about cooking or what to eat as dinner will be on the table, regardless of how late it will be.

when i wake up in the morning, i get my favourite breakfast -- fried bee hoon or something will just magically appear on the table

don't have to worry about laundry and paying bills.

everywhere and everything, there are pros and cons.

i seriously think that i'm sick.

i actually really enjoy working. now is just in a different environment. maybe is because i find satisfaction in my job.

the only thing that i actually miss is the comfort of my car and less humans around when i walk out of my office.

i hate the moz-zillion pple around me & i kind of miss winter.

bat kut teh in this rainy weather is so damn comforting.

it has been a while since i see so much rain. not very excited about it.

it has been a tremendous blessing.

i have to be in singapore longer than expected; not that i want to, but because of some problems with my working visa, i might have to leave @ the end of the month instead.

initally i was not looking forward to it at all. work back there has been crazily busy and i need to be back and i WANT to be back.

but thank God, everything has turned out rather smoothly. my boss kept on telling me not to get too worried about the situation. i can either work out of the singapore office or from home. he added that it would be a great experience too for me to see what's is like for international operations and i might be able to provide some help too. oh.. i love him. he has a talent for making serious situation lighter.

also, pete has been taking care of my daily life back there. that guy has been checking on my car and also the letterbox. he seems very excited about the victoria secret catelogs that have been resting in his house and i'm sure he has been grown very attached to them.

dy has been a tremendous consolation to me too. that guy is taking care of work and would be setting me up to work remotely very soon.

in short, everything has been great and i realise that i do have many people to count on in a foreign place.

it has been raining the whole day. oh boy.

not sure if is me or the weather. have been sleeping the whole day since last night drinking @ balaclava.

not the kind of life im used to anymore. i miss my home across the pacific.

something that made my day yesterday --- chimay @ oosters is good and to have that with mussels is heaven!

singapore's quite shiok.

the few things that are hard for me to get used to are the tri-zillion PEOPLE around and the FAST PACE OF LIFE. other than that, this place is pretty fantastic for a vacation.

go lunch and dinner with friends. @ night, there are so many places to choose from for chilling out. currently, my most favourite is this place called villa bali. secluded and relaxing. love it!

but @ times, i still feel empty inside. i kind of miss my mountains and beaches. and also, my western food.. thank God, my dad is bringing me to this brazilian restaurant tonight.

before that, me needs to go exercise abit. will be going bowling with my aunt and uncle.

life is pretty darn great!

i think i very power already loh.

i didnt suffer any jet lag when i got back last weekend. Pretty much after a night sleep, i was ready to go.

but i think im having jet lag from my own activities.

yesterday, me came back around 4 am. woke up @ 9:30 to meet valent & clifton for lunch. after i got back, i took a nap.

well, maybe i shouldn't call it a nap cause by the time i woke up, it was 10pm already. slept from 4pm to 10pm.

win already.. i think tonight dont have to sleep.

has been back for ~4 days already.

sin is great! with food and shops everywhere, this country is a wonderful playground.

but.. i think i have enough already. had been overeating and overshopping. now, all i want is to just stay @ home and enjoy the rain.
